Nevermind - I downloaded your Gentoo package (as shown at http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4454 ) and used the local camera patch file out of there. It patched without a problem. I'll report back with results when I get everything built and installed.

DUDE!!! Great modification man. The cameras went from OK to spectacular!

Phil - this should *definitely* be included as an option, even if it has to be a compile-time flag that references the patched version of the files. I can post pics of the before and after images if needed, but suffice it to say that it appears MUCH better than before.

I guess there's probably some whitespace differences that make patch unhappy. Yeah, that patch is inside the Gentoo portage tar file I cobbled together, along with one or two other patches that make life easier (sometimes) under Gentoo. Glad you got it working.

I don't know if you ever got this sorted, but did you try the -l switch to stop it being too fussy about white space?

Hello.

I have a card with 8 bt878 and 1 input each chipset.

Can NOT run in 640x480. I get interlace even using frame discard etc.

It is NOT a shared chipset issue.

I see that it should be a camera problem ?

Thanks
