I'd like to mention this entry is a different card. A TV-tuner I have in the same box. Sorry for the confusion.

Just a few points to point out, you don't need to modify your modprobe.conf for this card as it will be detected automagicaly with the newer 2.6 kernels.
It looks as though they are using a transistor to switch between the four initial inputs and the extra four (the single bt878 does only 30 fps so this would be divided between all eight
and there is probably an extra bit that the driver would need to set to make the transistor switch to the other four inputs.) so the performance of this card is no different than the other four input cards with a single chip you see on ebay for 1/4 the price. If you were able to use all eight inputs then the performance would be worse.
If you were to get two of the ebay speicals for $50 you would have eight inputs that were capable of 60 FPS total (were the above card will only be capable of 30 fps) at half the price.
The price listed in the above post, I could very well buy a kodicom card on ebay with four bt878 chips for about the same price and it preforms better. Granted that you do have to insmod the card for the kodicom and it's not auto detected.
Just my 2 cents,
Corey
It's the cam

I got a BNC to RCA adapter and plugged the camera directly into my TV's RCA video in and No Picture. Yes, I gave the cam power too; 12V DC 500mA to be exact.
I think the card works (since i'm gettting blue screen instead of black screen). It's just a dead cam.
Thanks for your system info. I'm sure it will help when i get a new, working cam.
