I was under the impression it is a hard drive install distro, with all the packages you need and without all the clutter of a regular install from the fedora CDs/DVD. This would be really nice to speed up and simplify installs to the HD.
I have been installing to the hard drive because I haven't had any luck with the earlier liveCD I tried, but I'm currently downloading the 1.21.3 version as I speak through the torrent. I'm always looking for better solutions and really appreciate all the work everyone is doing.

It's just a cut down version that can be installed headless or with the gnome desktop. It's not a live CD as we already have Ross's disto. Of course you can yum install anything you like. I have never setup a torrent before so if someone wants to walk me through on what I need and how to go about it I'd be more than happy to set one up.

I just joined Linuxtracker.org and I believe you can upload it there. If you want to give me the iso I can try to make the torrent file and upload it. It seems pretty straightforward creating the torrent file. There is a tutorial for creating and serving everything yourself at
http://www.bittorrent.com/guide.html , but this seems like it would take some bandwidth to get it started.

if there is any chance that I can get the iso in the next couple of days I can test it out. I have to load up a test system next week. I can try to get the torrent started and served out at the same time.

installed great. I am trying to get the torrent up and running. I am having a little trouble with the passkey, but should have it resolved shortly. I do have a problem with the webserver, it won't start.
I get the following error:
Code: Select all
Starting httpd: /usr/sbin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libdb-4.2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]
Just wondering if you have any idea what it is or how to fix it.
Thanks

Please James as mine got fried by a power surge some time back. I'm in the process of making an all in one type server now that will handle the demo stuff as before but, it will be a few days before I have everything configured.
Thanks,
Cordel
