lol none!! well not fully. But then i havnt tried some of the bigger cards. My hauppage was something i had and never used. It has no tuner, 3 phone composite ins and an svhs in. I modified the svhs to accept a conventional mono composite image but other than that it std. It was detected as something else and didnt work fully and i had to force it to another card number. Since then its been fine. The problem i have is it was a while ago i had the problem you had and have learnt so much since that it was probably something i did wrong as i never use xaw at all now

Think I'm gonna try another card see what result's i get...Just seems strange how it work's straight out of box on the LiveCD but not SuSE...
Think I'll also give FC5 a whirl too after all I did get my RHCE based in redhat

lol might be a bit simpler plus there will be rpm's for fc5 soon

I've also figured this out found out that I needed to set path as /dev/video0 but because I left channel as 0 it wouldn't work till I started xawtv but once I changed channel to 1 it work from reboot, hope this helps a fellow newbie
