jZMConsole remote access port forwarding

Post by billn77 »

I'm trying to get the jZMConsole up and working. I'm trying to access my zoneminder remotely.

My zoneminder installation is behind my router and port-forwarded. Will this cause a problem? So my URL entered is http://[ip]:[port]/zm

In the terminal window I'm launching from, I get the "markup in the...root element must be well-formed" error, and then my login does not work.

Can't wait to get it working, looks great.

Thanks,
Bill

The new version of jZMConsole is almost ready to put on Sourceforge. I threw together some website content at http://jzmconsole.securitykit.net which includes some screenshots and a feature list for the new version.

Could you please put your code also?

The java code needs major cleanup and the addition of comments before it will be ready for public distribution. I'm working on it.

jZMConsole V0.2B has been released on Sourceforge.

I started a new thread for that version, http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13440

Enjoy!
