Hi all, do you know if zmNinja development and FCM cloud function have been picked up by someone? Or should be expect zmNinja notifications to stop working sometime soon?

Zoneminder Dev Team has taken it on, Isaac and myself, anyone else with experience is welcome to help. If you check Play Store you will see Android is already transferred, we are working on completing the transfer across at the moment, and building the new versions with our FCM Notification service.
iOS will be a pain as Apple prevents a transfer for any apps using iCloud Entitlements so Apple users will need to download a new App once we can get it published.

There is a PR in ZMES with our new FCM server details, but it has to go live with the apps so it is currently waiting for the apps to be ready. I am literally working on an iOS build right now. Hopefully Asker will give us some leeway as he is nice guy

I know this isn't the correct place to put this, but with the software moving around and changing hands, can someone please tell me the proper way to report a security vulnerability with the iOS app? I would assume this vulnerability would carry over to the "new" iOS app mentioned in the last comment if they are copy/pasting large portions of the code.

I'd say Slack for the moment.

I believe it is supported with zoneminder 1.32+ However future support after development stopped on ZMES is not guaranteed.

Sorry, Just now seeing this. It is now working. I had a problem with the streaming, and have since corrected it with the help of one of these posts... The path to the CGI was incorrect, I had to make a slight modification to get it to start streaming. It is indeed a great app.

Any chance you'd want to try getting this into F-droid?

Not really. We can likely fix the licensing but I don't think anyone wants to take on the build pain.

We do already provide .apks.
