hmm, ok i think we still talk about different stuff...
you saying all the settings are stored in some xml file ?
where is that file ? i mean on my drive ?parkl
if i find that file i could just write a small app which always replaces that file before i start the app with a the version i want....
if you of course make a dialog which woud allow me to save the config to a file i want and load a config from a file i want that would make thinks easy!

yeah i suppose tis would be a good compromise. I will see what i can do for you over the next few updates. I still need a limit as the app needs to know and name each config file. yes they are in an zml file i only found this out about 2 weeks ago.
Its not an easy one to find. One thing you could so hat would work in xp is create diiferent logins on the machine. each user gets a personilised config so you could create as many users as sites then switch user. Not ideal but would work well for the moment

Windows assigns it a key through the registry. The file name is the same as the key under your profile in one of the many hidden directorys for your applications.
This is a windows thing to allow each user to have there own settings.

This rings a vague bell but I can't exactly remember what it was. Was it via an url or some other method?

it was a url i rember you posted a temp thingy you had running on your system, regarding alarm state and alarm count. I think there was 2 url's
one with general system info etc and one with all the monitors. but it neednt be a url, it can be what evers fastest. I was wondering if mysql would be a better way
