ok i thing a have the record.. i conect 16 cameras to zoneminder.. 4 878 cards. no problem only the memory and prosesor. need a good machine. 2000xp 768 ddr

well i found a problem. ramdom
since all cards uses irq 9 and modprobe takes time to setup the cards all 4 zmc dont start at the same time.

i have set the 16 cameras to alert but not all detect movement some dont record even if i press force record.
is ramdom not allways same cameras. i have to set them so passive and put it in alert again.. then not problem.

there is a watch dog for this.? i have testit on version .16 and have same bug in all recording modes.
nnothing to read on logs.

Hi Fernando,

There is a watchdog but all it checks for is whether the zmc processes are actually capturing images within a period of time. I'm not sure I completely understand what you'd want a watchdog to detect though. I've not seen a 16 camera system before, are there any errors in your logs at all?
