Hello everybody
I would like that zoneminder, while in mocord mode, to close the event when an alarm is detected and make an new event with the alarm. After the event with the alarm finishes, zoneminder should close it and start a new event.
How can i do it?
I want to do this for finding out why, while in modect mode, sometimes zoneminder doesn't record (there are people walking and it doesn't record them).
I read the documentation and made all the settings for highest sensitivity.
Thanks

Using mocord generates alerts, but only events based on time. That is the nature of mocord. Your modect problem is that you are not triggering alerts. Since alerts are still tracked in mocord, just look at an event and find the movement without the alert. Next is finding why... How is your load?

while the presets for a zone are handy, they do not guaranty they will work with every camera in every setting and there are no magic numbers that always work. You will still need to tune the zones in for your setup by increasing or decreasing settings as needed.

My load is below 0.5%, i have only one camera, a cpu at 2.4 Ghz, 512M DDRAM, 2 hardrives at 7200rpm, one for system, logs ..., and one for events.
I checked my logs and there are no problemes.
My system with the same camera, with motion (a basic surveillance software), it detects the slightest move, but with zoneminder there are moments when it doesn't, and i wanted to use mocord to see why, and try to solve the problem.

I use:
Alarm Check Method: Blob
Min/Max Pixel Threshold (0-255): 20 0
Filter Width/Height (pixels): 3 3
Zone Area: 100
Min/Max Alarmed Area: 1 0
Min/Max Filtered Area: 1 0
Min/Max Blob Area: 1 0
Min/Max Blobs: 1 0

Any suggestions?
