Forum is ok, sure, but for developers usually a mailing list is more friendly.
Why don't we setup a mailing list ( maybe a developement only one )?

if there are enough people that can halp out with the core code then maybe

There was a mailing list originally but then the forums replaced it. I don't have a problem with another list except that it might be days before I reply to anything (like now with the forums ).

The main problem with a list is making sure that there is a useful archive of past posts otherwise it's difficult for new people to keep up. Personally I would prefer a development forum (perhaps with a limited membership) as if you use the RSS feed then the posts appear in your mail reader or browser anyway so you can monitor what is going on.

I dont contribute to zm linux code but mailing lists i hate, as i much prefer the forum. Maybe an advanced area would be better idea that we policed well and moved non advanced posts out of
