Streaming video problem, possibly permissions?

Hello,

I have installed from RPM (1.22.3) on a FC6 box.
When I try to look at recorded and live streaming video , I get a 403 error in the screen where the video usually resides.
I also see "attempt to invoke directory as script: /var/www/cgi-bin/nph-zms/" in the httpd log files.

Basically I am lost.

However I can see the stills that are saved to the HDD.

I have a FC3 box set up with 1.21.4 working and I looked at how the cgi-bin permissions are set up and they are the same.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK been there done that...Go to Firewall and security...select the SELinux tab and move it from Enforcing to permissive ..save it and restart your FC6 box you should be happy as long as your cameras are configured.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I already had the firewall and SELinux disabled. This is a test box in my network (behind a firewall).

Still lost.

Problem solved!

I found the answer in the troubleshooting section.

The default script alias in the httpd.conf file was causing the problem.
