Email Alerts

Hi everyone

Im sure this has been posted before and perhaps someone can just point me to the right thread as I am unable to find anything in my searches.

I would like to know what process to follow to configure email alerts. I have added my email address under the email section under options and I have configured a background filter but nothing seems to happen even though the alerts are generated.

Your assistance is appreciated and my apologies for asking a question I know has been asked before

can your zm box send email?

id start with the filter logs first

The box can send mail (Running postfix and I have tested this)
How do I look at the filter logs?

I'm almost sure its something wrong with the way I have set up the filter. I just want the most basic i.e When alert - send mail.

did you delete all the settings?

Have a look where your logs are located, in there will be a zmfiler log
