I have some troubles with Kodicom 8800 and Zoneminder 1.23.1

Post by dinyasoft »

Hello. I have a some problem with Zoneminder. At me it is installed Zoneminder 1.23.1 On Debian 4.0r1. A card - Kodicom 8800. (x2) In modprobe - card=102. When I look video through Xawtv - all well. But when I push in Zoneminder (768x576 5fps x 8 channel) - I see capture here such video on which sometimes there are strips.

If I change mode from RGB24 to Grayscale - that strips are not present.
Also strips practically are not present in a static picture. shmmax I changed parameter. What can you advise me? It seems to me that the module bttv is initialized correctly because xawtv works well.

Hardware: MSI K9N Neo. Athlon X2 5000+. RAID 0 (2x Hitachi 500Gb SATA)
2Gb RAM.

P.S. On ASUS P4P800 + Pentium 4 2.8 i have strips too.
P.S.S. With GrandTec X-Guard capture card i don't have strips.

The problem is solved. My card simply overheated. I have installed from above the fan and strips were gone. 8 chips BT878 on my Kodicom 8800 without radiator - it's too much.
P.S. Once again thanks for great system ZoneMinder.
P.S.S. And BIG sorry for my English.
