Zoneminder Console always "STOPPED"

Post by beable »

Hi all,
I have installed Zoneminder 1.22.3 on a Trixbox 2.4.20 distro (Centos 5 based).

The installation is ended ok without errors, but when I open Zoneminder Console and I go to "Stopped" link to activate Zm, nothing change; Is is always stopped.

Is there anyone can help me to solve the problem ??

thanks in advance

Selinux is disabled

Post by beable »

Hi,
Selinux is disable:

/etc/sysconfig/selinux
# This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.
# SELINUX= can take one of these three values:
# enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced.
# permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.
# disabled - SELinux is fully disabled.
SELINUX=disabled
# SELINUXTYPE= type of policy in use. Possible values are:
# targeted - Only targeted network daemons are protected.
# strict - Full SELinux protection.
SELINUXTYPE=targeted

Trixbox changes alot of settings in the distro so many things are not set to defaults, unless you find a howto install zm on trixbox, none of the existing howto's will work.

Try to compile without pentium 4 options in the ./configure command. It does strange things as I found out.

I have the same problem with Centos 5. I had a working install with ZM 1.23.3 but this problem cropped up after upgrqading. Anyone know the cause and/or solution. SELinux is disabled.
