LevelOne WCS-0010

Post by Kess »

Hi all,
I bought this WiFi IP Camera and I'm trying to figure out how to configure zm in order to use it with this camera.

That's the product: http://www.levelone.eu/products3.php?idu=7004&id=2175

It's an MPEG4 / MJPEG IP Camera.
When I browse to http://<ipaddress>/img/mjpeg.cgi I can correctly see the image of the cam. It's a pure jpg image without any HTML tag or anything else.

But when I try to add it to ZM I can't see no picture.
These are my params:
Source Type: Remote
Function: Record
Max FPS: 30
Remote Host Name: <ipaddress>
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /img/mjpeg.cgi
Remote Image Colours: 24 bit colours
Capture Width: 640
Capture Height: 480

Any help is really appreciated, thx a lot.

Have you tried 320x240 for the res? i know ive had trouble getting my ip cam to work at 640x480. also be sure the ip cams internal params match those of zoneminder (that its sending at the same res taht zoneminder is asking, etc).

you may also want to look for another path to fetch the images. i think thats a multi-part jpg feed. if you can get just straight up jpg, it should work.

Thank you a lot for your reply.
This prob was a real pain in my ass.
I don't know why, but after following your instructions the system is fully working !

- Changed to 320x240 on the camera interface.
- Changed to 320x240 on ZM settings.

Now Mocord rocks ! :-)

Thank you again...
