Installed ZoneMinder on FC8 using package manager. Followed the README.fedora instructions. Edited zm.conf for user and password. Rebooted checked the services, tried to start the zoneminder service and got the following:
zoneminder failed. The error was: Use of uninitialized value in transliteration (tr///) at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ZoneMinder/Config.pm line 82, <CONFIG> line 52.
Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ZoneMinder/Config.pm line 83, <CONFIG> line 52.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ZoneMinder/Config.pm line 100, <CONFIG> line 52.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ZoneMinder.pm line 33, <CONFIG> line 52.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/ZoneMinder.pm line 33, <CONFIG> line 52.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/zmupdate.pl line 48, <CONFIG> line 52.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/zmupdate.pl line 48, <CONFIG> line 52.
Where do I even start to try to fix this?
Thanks In Advance!
