Timeline on Internet Explorer 7

Hi all,
I am testing the application accessing remotely through Internet Explorer 7. I installed the java applet cambozola.jar and the live streaming, playback event are working perfectly.
The only issue I have has to do with the timeline. When you get into it (with this browser), everything looks fine. However, when you try to go over the different events, it can't find anything even though they are showing in red in the timeline. I am only getting the "Zoom In" option all over the graph.
After playing with it for a while, I noticed that if you go over the timeline but moving exactly over the bottom line, it works as expected. This is not the way the Mozilla Firefox browser is working, as you can go over the events just passing over the red line in any possition (not only on its bottom).
Does anyone else experience the same situation? Is there a way to have the timeline under Internet Explorer 7 working as it is doing under Mozilla Firefox?
I will really appreciate any feedback.
