Please, give more detailed information so people can help you.

* What distribution did you use?

* What documentation did you follow to install it?

* Is the process running?
Check with: ps -ef|grep zm

* Have you checked the logs to see messages?

E.g.: Check the log archives:

/tmp/zmdc.log
/tmp/zmwatch.log
/tmp/zmpkg.log
/tmp/zmaudit.log
/var/log/messages

Hi Vejeta,

Thank you very much for your answer. I am using the 1.22.3 distribution. I have used the Manage Package of the last kubuntu version. The process is running and i have checked the log and i have found this:
"Restarting capture daemon for Prueba, shared memory not valid", Prueba is the name of my ip camera. Now the console is runnig but i can not see the video.

Best regards.

Can you see images when you are using other applications, like tvtime, xawtv.

If not, it could be you haven't configured the driver of your card to set the right card.

Saludos Cada.

In order to be able to help you, it would be helpful to know:
What IP cam you are using and if it's on the supported IP cam list or not.
What settings you have tried for it in ZM.
Whether or not you have authentication turned on for the cam.
What errors you get n zmdc.log, Apache error_log, and messages.
etc, etc....

Also going to move this to the proper place as posting in 1.23.x for 1.22 is not organized.

We have not got any Video* on /dev
The most likely are these:
cr--r--r-- 1 root root 61, 240 Oct 19 2006 camQ
cr--r--r-- 1 root root 61, 3 Oct 19 2006 cam3
cr--r--r-- 1 root root 61, 2 Oct 19 2006 cam2
cr--r--r-- 1 root root 61, 1 Oct 19 2006 cam1
cr--r--r-- 1 root root 61, 0 Oct 19 2006 cam0

The user is root. This is the line:
503 root 424 S /bin/boa -c /etc/httpd/conf

Have you goy any idea?.

Thank you very much

Best regards.

Each camera is different, so this is needed.
