Edimax has never been compatable with ZM. They do not use any type of mjpeg standard.
How ever, google does find this post where you might be able to get it to work through a socket or script tofle method.

Should work fine, it is just a link to another post on this forum.
Otherwise you can try:
http://www.zoneminder.com/search.html

and enter "Edimax" for the search string, should bring up the same info for you as it did for me.

With snapshots, yes it works.
With mjpeg, it does not.
