I ran into some bug which prevented me from using a certain authentication type (forgot which one). I began messing with the settings in the DB, tried putting in a clear text password, and somehow got myself in a state where I couldn't even log in with the correct one.
I was able to go into the DB and turn off whatever encryption setting caused it, and get in unauthenticated, but I still can't seem to turn on authentication without locking myself out.
I dont see any password reset mechanism built into the software.
I've googled around, but haven't found a solution. I was just thinking of reinstalling zoneminder, but perhaps there is a more elegant solution.
