zmfilter.pl - exit status 9

Hi,

Is there a way to get more details on a problem with zmfilter.pl? I have an error in the log files..

starting pending process, zmfilter.pl
...started at
...exited abnormally, exit status 9

The process starts, then immediately bails out. I'm not sure when this problem started to occure.

I have this error as well. I can't execute any filters and I presume this error is part of the problem. I really want to get ZM to FTP images/video to an offsite server when events occur, and it just doesn't work. I can't even run a filter to delete events under 4 sec duration.

I'm using an up to date Fedora 8 install on a Pentium 3 machine with 512MB RAM, with a Logitech Ultra Vision webcam. The camera works fine, Motect records events etc.

Fixed it!

My problem was that I was trying to do email notification too, and I didn't have the required perl module installed. The fix was to install the perl-MIME-Lite package using the Fedora graphical installer. This installed a couple of other perl things for dependancies which may have helped too.

I found the error by manually running zmfilter.pl from a root console, which gave an error mentioning MIME::Lite.

Zoneminder finally works for me with 100% of the functionality I want. It only took me 5 evenings!!
