Does a card with 1 chip per channel give better system performance than a card with 1 chip for 4 channels? I know the frame rate will drop but can a low end computer keep up with a high end card? Can it process all the frames that the card can deliver? If I install an 8 chip card in one of these...

if all 8 cameras are running at 352x288 black&white and you raise the ram to 1 or 2gb then that system might be able to handle 30fps =]
