Can you recommend a ~2 megapixel IP camera?

Hi!

I'm trying to see if anyone has had any success with 1.3MP or higher IP cameras. I've been looking at the Arecont 2100m which supports MJPEG, however I haven't been able to confirm that it definitely does/does not work. I don't really want to drop $800+ on one of these cams to find out it doesn't support ZM, so I'm hoping someone else has had success with it or something similar and hasn't mentioned it.

I've also looked at the Vivotek 1.3MP IP cams, which look promising, but no confirmation. I've poured through the wiki HCL, and it looks like almost no megapixel cameras are compatable.

So, does the zoneminder community have any success stories related to 2.0MP cameras?

TIA,
-Beofres

The only ones we have used are axis, so 216m's, 217m's and 223.

the Vivotek 7138 (1.3mpix) looks very interesting (for a megapixel ipcam in the $270 price range), but searching these forums revealed that the 7131 (640x480 ipcam) is apparently plagued by a slow framerate (2-3fps) when retrieving jpg images (search for posts by kylejohnson). i'm not sure if this problem has been corrected in the 7138 (which seems to have newer software: jpg is located in /cgi-bin/viewer/video.jpg rather than the older software's /cgi-bin/video.jpg)

also it seems that retrieving the mjpeg from the 7138 isn't as reliable as the jpg according to this post (unfortunately no mention of framerate): http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9065

but the bluecherry.net web store claims that both the 7131 and 7138 are supported by zoneminder so maybe they've had better luck getting a decent framerate from the 7131.

my guess is that the 7138 supports the advertised framerate of 7.5fps when retrieving jpg images, but a confirmation would be nice =]
