Hi folks.

Here's my scenario:

2 camera installations
1 common network
5-8 cameras each (cctv)

Location 1:
This installation is pc based currently running windows with win32 dvr software.
I'm going to replace this windows based sollutin with zoneminder.

Location 2:
This installation is a noname embedded dvr.
I'd like to replace the noname with a linux(?) box with a capture board.
Then I'd like it to act as a multichannel cameraserver that zoneminder can get source streams from.

Anyone know of any software that would do what I need on location 2?

Could you put a network video server at location 2?

Well putting a couple of AXIS 209FD (or simmilar) on location 2 would propably be the best path to go.
However my budget simply won't allow that.
So I'm looking for a software sollution instead. I allready have a spare PC with a capture board.

I really hope it can be solved with software.
