20 cameras setup

Hi!
We've got here a server with two Xeon processor (1.8Ghz) and a problem is to connect 20 cameras to it.
I guess such a server won't be able to process (motion detection&capturing) more than 100 fps; so desirable maximum fps per camera should be about 4 (2 if every camera is alarmed).
The best solution so far posted in this forum (I suppose) is using ituner spectra8 cards (two cards with 8 inputs and 1 card with with four inputs); yet they provide 12 fps per channel which is more than necessary (and thus more expensive)
Can anyone suggest a better solution?
And another interesting point, what's the greates number of cameras one have ever connected to ZM machine?
With best regards, Alexander.
