When I export as a tar file all is fine but when I try ZIP I get this error.
Warning: opendir(events/Cam2/4951) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /usr/share/zoneminder/zm_export_funcs.php on line 198
Export Failed
I'm setting this up for a friend and he is a windows user.
Thanks for any ideas.

You're better off fixing your problem locally, in the long run, but WinRAR doesn't mind .zip, .tar, etc.

Uploaded events may be stored in either .tar or .zip format, this option specifies which. Note that to use this you will need to have the Archive::Tar and/or Archive::Zip perl modules installed.
Do you have zip perl modules installed, or just zip?

Yes I just checked and the lib perl module for tar and zip are installed.
