I'm not clear on this, and I've unable to find anything on it after searching and reading for the last hour.

I installed my PVR149 in my FC6 linux box last night, and everything is working fine, however I don't know what to do with the watchdog cable.

My assumption is that the watchdog cable is connected to the RESET pins on the motherboard, however I am unclear that this will work on LINUX.

If it does work with LINUX, and my assumption as to it's function is correct, how do I control it? Plug it, and unplug it? Seems like the windows software that comes with the PVR149 says something about turning it on and off.

Ok I hooked up the watchdog cable to the pins on the pv149 card and the motherboard, then ran the reset switch from the case to the pv149.

Now the linux box is locked up, but no reset. Is there some software required to enable the watchdog?

Ok the linux box hung and remained hung for 2 hours until I reset it. The watchdog feature is not working. Based on what I have read in the minimal manual that came with the board there must be some software to enable the watchdog function.

I can't find anything for LINUX.
