Airlink101 SkyIP 7xx PTZ (solved)

Ok, I think I've re-read everything enough times that I'm not going to be asking a obvious question. Or maybe I am.

I've got Zoneminder v1.22.3 running on a Redhat Fedora box. I have one Airlink101 SkyIP 747 Network camera. Everything is working, I can see video from the camera, all is well. Except....I'd really like to move it.

I followed the directions from http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12271 and did everything. One note, there was no perl directory as referenced. And this is where I first started to get lost. There's no reference to the actual control script. There's the perl module, but is that what is supposed to be run?

So, I go ahead and try it. I create a new control and tell it the path is that Skyip7xx.pm module to execute (since I ran it from the command line and its fine). How-ever I'm getting no movement, nothing in the logs, nada.

I added two lines to output debugging in /tmp. I go back and run it, nothing. Now, I change the camera type to axis, try to move it, and I see a debug file appear in tmp for the zmcontrol-axis. So I can see that everything is still working as expected. How-ever when I go back and change the command line to the skyip7xx.pm, I still get no output anywhere, and nothing in the debug logs to try and track this down.

I re-read the posting several times, but am I missing something obvious here? Is there another script I should be running that I forgot? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Update:
After one final time, CAREFULLY re-reading I finally noticed my version number and the version number for the module was off. So, after grabbing an RPM, doing some database updates. Well....all is well again!

I just needed to match the same version number with the program. now I've got a working cam

It may be better to post this under the original thread for the instructions created by Setarcos. I believe he's the only one that has hacked together the scripts and has the best understanding of the URL functions of the camera.
