I'm hoping you can help me make this camera, Panasonic WV-NS202A, work with ZoneMinder 1.23.3 powered by Ubuntu 8.10. I have tried to set the camera to MPEG/JPEG and JPEG only. I have also tried to set RESOLUTION=320x240 and 640x480 to match with the internal setting in the camera. I have tried the following remote paths and neither one worked. I also used PRESET suggestions and did not get good result. I was able to get other camera, DCS-6620G and toy, Rovio to work with ZoneMinder.

The camera is behind firewall with port forwarded. By the way, each of the following paths works fine (image displayed correctly) when viewing from IE or Firefox browser.

vi /etc/hosts

192.168.1.101 ns202a mycam888.dyndns.org:82

Remote Host Name: username:password@ns202a (defined in the host file)
Remote Host Name: username:password@192.168.1.101
Remote Host Name: username:password@mycam888.dyndns.org

Remote Host Port: 82

Remote Host Path: /SnapshotJPEG?Resolution=320x240&Quality=Standard
(also tried 640x480 to match internal camera setting)

Remote Host Path: /cgi-bin/jpeg?connect=start

Remote Host Path: /cgi-bin/camera?resolution=640

Remote Host Path: /cgi-bin/jpeg?connect=start&framerate=5&resolution=640&vmdinfo=none&UID=31676

Remote Host Path: /cgi-bin/getuid?FILE=1&vcodec=jpeg

Remote Host Path: /cgi-bin/nphContinuousServerPush?Resolution=640x480&Quality=Standard

Remote Host Path: /nphMotionJpeg?Resolution=640x480&Quality=Standard

Thanks in advance for any of your effort.

James

James,

Can you give me any details on how you made your Rovio work with ZoneMinder.

Thanks
Tony
