I use Ubuntu server hardy heron if I plug in the device it shows up in the lsusb list but I cannot get it to work as a monitor in ZM if I select /dev/video0 as the device it sometimes goes orange (the wording that is) but not always but the image stays blank.
I am assured that the device works fine under xp but am not able to test this.
it does not work in skype or chesse.
any help would be appreciated.
I have an edimax 1500wg working well on zoneminder.
