thoughts please folks!
The landlord of our TINY school is objecting to us installing a ZM system (or anything presumably) ... just wondered what advice or suggestions folks could give about PERSUADING an unimaginative landlord about benefits to him.... I have no idea if something like ZM could ever be used to reduce insurance costs... maybe this has worked for someone out there?!
thanks!

I've heard people talk about lower insurance rates but that is typically for alarm systems not so much for security cameras.
As far as convincing him......find out why he doesn't want it. Are you flipping the bill or is he? See if he wants to be involved in placement of cameras? Any other tenants he rents to in the area that the cameras can reach? Maybe a group approach? Maybe allow him to access certain cameras?
Benefits out weigh the negatives..unless he has a insurance scam in the works.

He might 'object' but is he actually able to prevent installation if it does not materially affect the bricks and mortar?

See if it is proscribed in your lease. If not, there is little he can do about it.
