PV-149 with 4 ports and PV-149 with 8 ports in a machine

I want to put 4 cams in a 4 port PV-149 board and 7 cams in a 8 port PV-149 board in a same motherboard. Could I have performance issues ?

I`m planning to buy a new computer with intel processor like C2D ou quad core.
The machine will be dedicated for survaillance system.

did someone had problems with systems with more than 10 cameras at same time ?

I have done 24, and it works. However a montage of more than 9 can get a bit laggy.
