interlaced vs. non-interlaced capture

Hello!
I wonder if somebody could answer me a question.
I read same posts in the forum, but I couldn't find any direct answer - my English isn't the best
The interlaced image captured from analog camera have more information than the non-interlaced and lower resolution sibling?
Did I loose any detail if I switch from 580x420i to 352x288?
Thank you!
