I have an RTSP camera with the following URL:

rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.0.60/live/mpeg4

So what are the setting?

Remote Host Name: admin:admin@192.168.0.60
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /live/mpeg4
Remote Host SubPath: ?????

Thanks

It depends on the camera, whate Make/Model is it?

The subpath is the part of the query that is used to select the video or audio track and is returned in the result to the SDP query however ffmpeg hides all that and it is impossible to get access at present. If you can get an image with ffplay and run a WireShark trace it will be more obvious. You could try using /trackID= as that seems to be fairly common.

How did you you get your AVI201 working from Quicktime ?

I've tried the url rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.1.1/live/mpeg but doesnt work.

Also did you manage to get it working in Zoneminder, if so please please share.

Thanks

i am using zm 1.24.2 and it doesn't ask me for a remote host sub path. however, it seems like i need to fill in a value for it in order to use the vivotek 7131.

do i just add it to the remote host path?
