My customer wants a system with 12 analog cams.
I proposed a system with a 500 GB HD, 2GB RAM DDR2 800MHz
Based on the spreadsheet from the ZM Wiki I calculate 500 GB will be enough for a 12 cam system with 12 up to 15fps each at resolution 320X240
the boards I plan to use are http://store.bluecherry.net/Provideo_PV ... pv-149.htm
and

Maybe I could use a similar model with audio support but is not mandatory.

I won't use motion detection.

Does anyone have any idea about hardware requirements for a system like this ?

I would use motion detection. I would also stick in 4 gig, as ram is cheap, but your don't need it. You never mentioned CPU, but any dual core will be fine. You will not be viewing on that station. If you do no motion detect, you will fill that drive fast.
