I have come across this feature in more and more lately especially with some really high end cams where you simply draw a polygon in the area where you want to see what moved similar to how zones work now but on demand and it would bring up all the matching events

I think this feature would be nice considering its called ZONEminder

So my question is if i would like to experiment with something like this what should i look at as far as zoneminder. I know would need to look at zms and zma but how would i find the information relating to storage of events.
