hi,

Email notification doesn't work for me and make me crazy...(ubuntu 8.10).
I think something is badly configurated but i don't know what...
That's what I have :
ZM_OPT_FILTER - checked
ZM_EMAIL_ADDRESS - login@neuf.fr
ZM_EMAIL_SUBJECT - default
ZM_EMAIL_BODY - default
ZM_NEW_MAIL_MODULES - tried checked and uncheked
ZM_EMAIL_HOST - smtp.neuf.fr (tried localhost)
ZM_FROM_EMAIL - ZM
ZM_URL- http://127.0.0.1

I have tried with installing nullmail, ssmtp, postfix, exim4, sendmail : nothing works
I have changed /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini with :
sendmail_path = sendmail -t -i -f login@neuf.fr

In my syslog i have always the same message :

Mar 11 23:41:36 fred zmfilter[11422]: INF [Sending notification email 'ZoneMinder: Alarm - Fred2-1191 (90 - 51 30)']
Mar 11 23:41:36 fred zmfilter[11422]: INF [Notification email sent]

but nothing in my mailbox....

Please, where is the problem ?

It could be the ZM_FROM_EMAIL setting. Try setting this to a full email address like zm@example.com
If that doesn't work then you need to look at your mail servers logs to see if there are any error messages there.

Oh my god !!! I don't know how to thank you ! I had to try everything except that...
Would allow me you to abuse a few of your time to ask you how to parametrize the options for sending SMS on my handy ?
Is there in ZM_MESSAGE_ADDRESS ?
