Hello,
We've been playing with ZoneMinder and 4 axis cameras. We started out the the 1.23.x branch running on CentOS. Everything was going fine but then I noticed that the 1.24 release was out (I was following the Wiki install and it refrences the 1.23). Everything works fine with 1.24 but we really dislike the new montage.
In 1.23 we had all cameras setup to capture at 640x480 and then had the montage setup for 320 x 240. We could configure the montage for 4 across and get a nice thin strip that did not take up too much screen real estate. The ability to set the image size in the montage seems to have totally disappeared etc. Am I totally missing something or is this just the way it's going to work in new versions?
TIA
Don't like the 1.24.x montage

The 1.24.x montage view allows you to choose one of a variety of style sheets that control the layout of the monitors. There are a number of stylesheets included but you are free to create your own. If I understand you correctly you just want a single horizontal strip of a fixed size of image. This will be easy to do just by copying/editing the default stylesheet (montage_freeform.css) and fixing the image size to your size.
The new system is there because everyone seems to want a different layout and previous the amount of control available was limited. This way you can create layouts to suit your requirements.
