svn up the latest mjpeg-streamer and then hit http:///yourhost:8080/javascript_motiondetection.html

It is very crude at the moment, pretty much just detects changes between 2 frames.

I don't think it is actually useful for anything right now, I was just surprised to find it. It must be something just being tested, as it is not added to the main mjpeg-streamer menu.

Yeah the guy had a video on it awhile back, I've been following it but nothing much out for it yet.

I never did get my Sheeva Plug! Paid $90 something and have yet to see it. Trying to call the company today. I've been playing with my Routerstaion since then and guess what, it's Mips based and I've already got a ASUS Deluxe running a special openwrt kernel that boots Debian from a memory stick. I'm rounding up support to get a kernel built for the Routerstation that would boot the Mips version on Debian and at that point an entire world of packages and power will be at my fingertips, muhahaha.
