Hi,
I searched but could not find an answer so here goes.
I have a IP9100a loaded with the yoics firmware and 4 cams feeding it, every so often the video from one of the 4 (any of the 4) will "shift" down or up and leave a black bar on the image in the middle usually triggering an alarm in zone minder. here is a picture of what happens.

Any Ideas? it NOT a problem with ZoneMinder as I see it happen on the ip9100a directly on its web interface and its not all that frequent either but just annoying.

Thanks for any help!

if posiable slow fps down

it happens because of the cheap chip (most likely copied in china)

I've seen this before major reasons are:

1) mixing PAL and NTSC cameras.
2) improper resolution set on 9100 (IE pal set to 320x240 or 640x480)
3) bad ground
4) bad power supply or camera
5) unhooked ports that are not turned off
