I setup 1.23 from apt-get ubuntu server 9
use /dev/video0 "BT878 video (GrandTec Multi Cap"

enable function Record or Mocord by source /dev/video0 (3)
in "watch mode" I see what status "Status: Alarm - 5.00 fps" mark red colour, it means what motion detector catch motion? now in "zones" I set one Active zone by all the image size with option "fast, low sencivity".

why all time is "Status Alarm"?

(sorry for my english)

Explain it:

The problem consists that once having worked the movement gauge is not switched off, even then, when on the image long time (> 10 minutes) are not present in general any movement. That is at first the chamber in mode Idle, then Alarm and in mode Alarm it remains all this time and she writes a large quantity of pictures... How it to correct?

Please well though somebody prompt that with the alarm status can be at me. A situation such that once having worked the status of alarm and continues to hang, we will admit all night long rents an empty room as there there is a movement. In mode Modect

I guess we have the same problem then m8, my alarms once they are triggered won't stop. Even if there is no movement whatsoever. I read in another thread that diminishing the sensitivity should help but I've been playing with the

"Min/Max Pixel Threshold" and "Min/Max Alarmed Area" values and the same things still happen.

Cheers

I just deleted the monitor and reconfigured it back again with JUST the necessary information (don't move other stuff but just the things you need to get linked to the camera!) and now it works like a charm :)

Cheers m8
