Hi Guys,
This is a such a cool bit of software i am well impressed. Currently i have a 4 port, single BT chip which with 3 cameras i get about 2 to 3 FPS.
So what i looking to do is get a new card which will give me a much better FPS for 6 cameras. Can anyone point me to a suitable card.
Thanks
Regards
Paul

Hi Chris,
There is a list of some of the supported cards in the 'Support' section. However what you can get depends to some extent on where you are. I assume you're in the UK as you're NTL I think. In which case it's a bit trckier as the best cards (in my opinion the Ituner and LML ones) have to be shipped from the US which can be expensive. In the past I have been able to get them both at below the prices advertised so you could try asking for a discount, or I could see if I could get some cheaper again. Basically you just need a card that has a BT878 attached to each input and not one shared between the lot of them. I think if you search the forum there have been several discussions in the past.
Phil,

Meant to add, I'd like this one as i can do 8 ports with it.

Sorry Paul, I don't know where I got Chris from!
The Spectra8 will do 8 ports, though you need to make sure you get the expansion bracket as well which is extra. Also then you have 8 half rate ports rather than full rate ones. So instead of 4 at 25fps or so you get 8 that can do about 10fps each, if that is acceptable. If you don't use all eight, any that aren't paired will still be 25fps. I'm pretty sure the LML one does the same but I prefer the Spectra as well.
I will get in touch with them on Monday and see what they will do for us. With the $ the way it is it should hopefully work out not too expensive.
Phil,

Hi Paul,
Ituner have just got back to me and I'm just making sure I haven't forgotten anything when calculating what the final price would be. Can you tell me how many cards you want (I'm assuming just one) and whether you also want the expansion bracket to take it up to 8 half-rate inputs rather than 4 full-rate.
Cheers,
Phil,

Hi Paul,
I think I should be able to get one for you at about £240 inc VAT but not including P&P (as I don't know what that would be yet). I am making a couple of assumptions here about the exhange rate and duty %ge which I'll check later but I think are right. This includes both the card and the expansion bracket by the way.
Let me know if you want to proceed.
Phil,

Hi Phil,
Yep, that sounds fine with me, I take it you mean P&P from you to me and not from the US.
We can take this offlist now and you can PM me at
