Re: Montage problem (strange) !!!
I've noticed the same thing...using IE6 and probably mozilla/firebird/fox as well...
It seems to happen only if I click 'Montage' right after logging in...the same monitor will show up on all 4 channels (BT878 1-chip 4-inputs)...if I close the Montage and click '4 Monitors', different monitors get cycled through...and if I open up Montage again then the 4 seperate monitors get placed into their proper spots...
I've also noticed monitors freezing and not refreshing to the current time, and the best solution seems to be logging out and back in...
but the problem that's bothering me the most are interlacing artifacts...I'm doing 768*576 (PAL with all 4 channels on Modect on a PII 450mhz) so maybe I shouldn't be complaining, but even when the whole screen looks fine the actual motion (ie. person walking) has interlacing artifacts which makes it very difficult to distinguish faces, etc.
Regards,
Jan

ahmmm i see... you can solve the interlace problem ( its a REALLY problem for me too) in mozilla or netscape just enabling java and overriding the detection of this support in an option at zoneminder setup...
it worked very well for me in mozilla - firefox ( its really a piece of art browser)
so , Using the java plugin and forcing the use of java to streaming the images will work very well for you
BUT the montage problem still remaining... anyone please could give me any idea of why this is happening ? in IE it works well..... my system is using just 256 MB of ram and using 125 MB of Disk Swap....
if we put a delay of one second in every monitor in montage to show an image, like a serial way : first the monitor 1 , after 2, then 3... i think could help a lot... is it possible Philip ?
