Can I use TV-IP400W Trednet with an external Infrared light?

Is possible to make work TV-IP400W or TV-IP110W in day/night mode with an external Infrared light?

If yes, what about the video quality?

I was googling and i read that the cameras has fixed or not fixed infrared filter film in the lens.

So be carefull to remove it and don't forget that the camera can works horrible at day light.
