Can't view more than 3 cameras at once!?!: SOLVED

I am running ZM 1.23 on Kubuntu 7.10 with Apache 2.2.4, Php 5.2.3 and 2G of ram on a box that is also configured as an ap for 1 wireless camera. This box does not start an X server on bootup and all connections to the ZM console are made remotely across the local network, or from the Internet.

I started out with 1 camera (wireless) , then 2 (ip), and everything was fine. When I added a 3rd camera (ip), I noticed that the 3rd camera view took up to an extra 30 seconds to load in montage mode, but it loaded eventually. Other than that, no noticeable problems.

Now that I have added 2 additional cameras, for a total of 5 (1 wireless, 4 ip), the 3rd, 4th, and 5th camera views NEVER load in montage mode (which cameras DO load is determined by the order they appear in the ZM console, the rest are blank frames), and I have noticed that I can't open more than 2 individual live camera views either.

So if I open the live view camera 1, and then camera 2, I can view their respective events, stills, etc. no problem. But a 3rd live camera view will open to a blank page until I close the live view of camera 1 or 2. However, if I create groups of 2 and 3 cameras, respectively, everything seems to be ok within those groups.

5 cameras in montage mode shouldn't be this much of a hassle, should it? This is a dedicated box serving up no other web pages, and I have the same problem connecting from the LAN or the Internet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

In your browser go to the URL:

Code: Select all

about:config
Then change the following to higher numbers:

Code: Select all

network.http.max-connections-per-server
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server
