i depsertly need your help at your earliest. i installed zoneminder 1.24.1 through yum on fedora11.and also installed ffmpeg devel and ffmpeg through yum and in zoneminder options i point to right ffmpeg location as well. i followed your link on zoneminder forum as well and adust that settings to my own Mobotix cameras. but i dont see any video or picture in zoneminder. and the path to camera is also red sometime orange. i check the camera with ngrep and wireshark and it shows that camera is sending image to zoneminder but zoneminder cant display it.
and when i click on monitor it's show white or black display nothing else. the events,hour,day,week etc in zoneminder console for all monitors showed 0's.
the following erros are shown in /var/log/messages, /etc/httpd/logs/error-messages, /tmp/zmwatch.log
1:FAT [Bogus monitor type 'Ffmpeg' for monitor 1] in /var/log/messages
2:localhost zmwatch[1976]: ERR [Can't get shared memory id '7a6d0002', 2: No such file or directory] shown in /var/log/messages
3:[error] [client ::1] socket_sendto( /tmp/zms-079799s.sock ) failed: No such file or directory, referer: http://localhost/zm/?view=watch&mid=1 in /etc/httpd/logs/error_log
please tell me whether the installation of zoneminder through yum is ok or should i install it through source code. because i tried only ffmpeg from source code not zoneminder 1.24.1.
i am working on zoneminder since last 1 month but have no sucess so for. i have mobotix M12 and D12 cameras.
