DVR card help

Currently looking at 2 pci-e cards to use with zoneminder under ubuntu 8.04 server 64 bit edition
one is based on a single conexant CX258S3 chip the other is Phillips (I think) SAA7134 chips set

Which would be the best and are there any likely compatibility issues?
