About this time last year i created a live zoneminder cd , I have been running this system on a couple of machines since then, and am impressed by it's reliability.
The Cd boots up, and you have a working zm system, but it is also capable of saving changes, and events etc to hard drive. For example you can install extra software, and even after a reboot, it's still there for you.
After a couple of emails, I've decided to update the CD, to the latest version of zoneminder (currently 1.24.2), and now have it installed and working.
I now need the following.
1) Requests for features and drivers, eg software you'd like adding, network cards etc.
2) Someone to help out with testing.
Please help out.
I'm also planning to release detailed instructions on how to modify the iso itself, to add features of your own to your own ISO.
What features / drivers / software ?
I already have the system built, and running on a laptop with a webcam.
The system runs from a Cd or pendrive, no need to delete your operating system, this just works.
This is 1.24.2 that i have working.
mpeg streaming is not working, next to do.
I'm simply asking what people would like to see on the live cd.
One thing i'm going to bundle with it is jheidi (a mysql gui frontend).
I couldnt find the time to do anything with fedora, sorry.
Any other requests?.
