I'm new to ZM and our IT clients have been asking about Video Web Cams for a while. We use Linux for our IT solutions and ZM seems like a natural fit for our clients. We have a test box up and running using the 878 chipset.
I have been trying to master the ZONE creation process with limited results. I cannot predict that a zone will or will not work. I've read the dumbing down of Zones in a earlier post. Once I perfect this process I will create a tutorial that covers this in depth, but so far the various settings seem a bit unpredictable.
Could someone else take a swipe at explaining there understanding of the zone settings?
On many ocassions I get alert that certain pixel settings should be greater than another and they are. I can see with this much flexibility it will be very easy to overcomplicate every aspect of this tool and I really want to have a clear understanding on this and be able to predict how it will respond.
