ZM 1.24.2/Debian 5.0 - Suggestions.

I finally managed to get ZM working on Lenny. Google and Bing saved the day as this wasn't as straightforward as it used to be. For instance I got the same video feed on both channels of my bttv-inputs (had to set CAPTURES_PER_FRAME to .
I'd appreciate it if anyone would like to provide some suggestions for various settings.
I've got a P4 3Ghz/2GB/1TB RAID0 for ZM.
It has two LMLBT44 cards which are connected to 15 Sanyo VCC-6585Ps (http://www.sanyosecurity.com/pdf/cctv/c ... _6585p.pdf), capturing/storing @2FPS.
Whats the recommended capture resolution? I suppose anything above 384x288 will produce interlacing, but whats the formula for calculating lines vs. pixels?
Whats the recommended capture palette? I'm currently running BGR24, most others fail (including RGB24). Is there anything to gain by using YUV instead?
Finally shmall/shmmax suggestions really wouldn't hurt . Currently set to 1.5GBs.
Regional laws prohibit storing "casual" footage for more than seven days.
